Our geotechnical team in the Netherlands is expanding and innovating, so we are looking for an Application Developer in Geotechnical Engineering
What you do as an Application Developer in Geotechnical Engineering
As an Application developer in geotechnical engineering, you are part of the RHDHV geo-tooling team and responsible for the development of tools to be used in geotechnical engineering practice. There are plenty of opportunities to develop yourself as f.e. a Product Owner. You will work on projects ranging from impressive high-profile multidisciplinary projects (like Oosterweel connection, Port design Poti or Sharq Crossing) to smaller projects (e.g., for municipalities) and implement geotechnical tools and applications.

Where you will work
You will become part of the RHDHV geotechnical community and geo-tooling team; As a starter you will join a Young professional program in which you develop your soft skills; You contribute to complex and diverse engineering projects, cooperating with colleagues from all over the world;In our teams we have a passion for engineering. Experiences range from senior specialists to graduate engineers; we like to learn from each other’s experiences and share the latest developments.
What do you bring
You have a MSc or PhD in geo-engineering or civil engineering; You are fluent in Python, including knowledge about object-oriented programming, knowledge of other programming languages or about web based and/or database architecture is a plus; Knowledge of digital development processes, basic knowledge of DevOps Azure and Git, dealing with test plans and release cycles or willing to learn the before mentioned skills; You like solving complex problems and can translate user stories to feasible technical solutions; Strong analytical ability, proactive and committed to technical excellence; Fluent in English communication (Dutch is desirable, living in The Netherlands a must); 3-12 years of experience; Teamplayer, cooperative, flexible.
