Support Editor

Octagon Professionals is looking for candidates to provide support to the Space Market Office at the Directorate of Commercialisation, Industry and Competitiveness at ESA. The Space Market Office aims to support the commercialization of the European Space Industry, by identifying, fostering and promoting opportunities for European businesses to work with ESA. The service comprises of a number of activities based in ESTEC (Netherlands, Nordwijk), ESA HQ (France, Paris) and ECSAT (Harwell, UK).

One of the key areas of support is the Editorial one, to be based in ESTEC (NL, Nordwijk) or ESA HQ (France Paris) or ECSAT (Harwell, UK). The role of Support Editor entails the following:

Responsibilities

• To review written content for clarity, grammar, and style.
• To produce creative content for various communications materials.
• To manage editorial tasks and support marketing campaigns.
• To ensure high-quality written content for articles, reports, brochures, and newsletters.
• To coordinate with technical officers to gather information.
• To maintain editorial plans and logs.

Requirements

• Experience in editorial work and content creation.
• Strong writing and proofreading skills.
• Excellent English (C1 level).
• Ability to work with technical and creative teams.
