As a mechanical engineer for our client, you will bean important part of a systems design group specializing inprecision mechanics. Within their engineering department, whichincludes systems engineering, research and development, andsoftware engineering, you will work to maintain, industrialize, anddevelop their Electron Spray Lithography (EBPG) system for bothcurrent use and futuredevelopment.

  • Control the completeindustrialization process of new or modified mechanical modulesintegrated in the EBPG system
  • Ensure optimalmanufacturability and impeccable product quality for new mechanicaldevelopments or modifications of existingmodels
  • Create and maintain extensive mechanicaltechnical documentation including 3D plans, 2D technical drawings,installation instructions and maintenance instructions for bothproducts and tools
  • Assess and address technicalrisks in the factory during the production process through thesupply chain and at customer sites.
  • Analyze andimplement strategies to achieve required functionality, designsolutions, create 3D designs and work with suppliers to customizeand manufacture prototype parts
  • Take ownershipof assigned deliverables to project teams involved in newdevelopment and ensure structured planning, coordination. , andperformance of tasks
  • Manage internal andexternal communications, including documentation and with assignedprojects related progress reports
  • Participatein organization-wide initiatives to improve structure and processefficiency
  • Report directly to SystemsEngineering Manager

Functie-eisen
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical orMechatronics Engineering or related field
  • 3-5years of work experience, including practical knowledge thatensures manufacturability
  • Broad technicalcuriosity that goes beyond mechanical engineering; knowledge ofvacuum engineering, high voltage and precision mechanics is highlypreferred
  • Demonstrated sense of ownership,practicality and hands-on approach and demonstrated expertise inproject-based work
  • Demonstrates creativity andstrong communication skills
  • Strong analyticalskills eye for conceptual problem solving and desire to achieveexcellent team results withcolleagues
  • Independent and able to thrive in achallenging, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency inEnglish, both spoken and written.
