The job

You are assigned to projects in which you are the link between our post-production department and all other involved departments (specifically project management, production and creation). You analyse concepts well before the shoot, advise, request necessary files, set up briefings and delivery sheets and support the editor from start to finish. Being able to juggle multiple projects whilst keeping the overview is essential but don’t worry, you will be in the safe hands of one of our post producers and become part of our close team (aka second family).

For this internship, we’re looking for someone with a genuine interest in the profession that is post producer, sees this as a future role and is willing to go the extra mile with our guidance. In addition, our ideal candidate loves organisation, has an eye for detail and is not impressed by deadlines. Strong communication skills form the glue that keep all of the foregoing together.

A strong interest in video and technology (nerd are cool) Strong communication skills A healthy dose of perfectionism Reading and writing in English with Dutch as a bonus Experience in video editing and knowledge about workflow, files ,etc. are also bonus

(for this role it’s important to live in the Netherlands and work at our office in a ±2/3 ratio)

Post Producer
If you made it this far reading the vacancy, it means it was at least interesting to know what a post producer does at Boomerang. That’s not that odd though, there’s not a lot of post producers in the world and as the center of the post-production process, we mostly operate behind the scenes between PM/creatives and post. Some of us used to be video producers, some of us used to be editors but we’re mostly puzzle experts that make sure editors creative quality work.
