As a Protection Automation & Control Engineer,you’ll be involved in the engineering, realization, andcommissioning phases within our project team. You’ll engage intechnical discussions with sales teams and other project engineers,providing progress updates and technical insights to the projectmanager while ensuring customer requirements are met. Your rolewill include preparing technical documentation, configuringhardware, and conducting technical tests. During Factory AcceptanceTests (FAT), you’ll guide customers through the systems, addressingtheir questions in close collaboration with the project manager.You’ll also lead the commissioning on-site, managing any issues andensuring successful Site Acceptance Tests (SAT). Stand-by servicesare part of the role and come with additionalcompensation.

Functie-eisen
  • Bachelor in Electrical Engineering withverifiable work experience in energy automation andprotection.
  • Familiarity with solutions such asSIPROTEC, SICAM, A8000, Ruggedcom, SCALANCE, and Spectrum Power 5,including configuration and testing tools like DIGSI 4 & 5,Toolbox II, Device Manager, SICAM PTS, and OMICRON Test Universe,is highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel forprojects both within the Netherlands andabroad.
  • A valid driver’slicense.
  • Professional-level writing andreporting skills in Dutch or English arerequired.
  • STIPEL certification (WV, VCA VL, andNEN 3140/3840) is an advantage.
