Making a difference tothe customer as our new POS Software Tester / QA. You’ll join the‘Point of Sale’ team within the AH Customer Technology platform.This department is responsible for the development of the 'paytower’ and the staffed and service checkouts in our Albert Heijnstores and AH to go. This means you are responsible for more than13.000 checkouts and 60.000 handheld scanners, handling 17 milliontransactions per week. When shopping at Albert Heijn yourself, youuse your own product every visit. Being an Agile Tester means yourultimate goal is to ensure that only the most reliable code makesit to production. As an Agile Tester you are able to setup thetests within your team in such a way that the team is able todeliver high quality software to production. You do this by knowingthe ins and outs of our applications. You work together withdevelopers to ensure the fastest possible feedback. With yourexperience with test automation and requirements analysis, youmarshal your team in the right direction.

Together with your team (2 testers, 1 Engineering Manager) youwill work on inspiring projects to accelerate our transition into ahybrid Food & Tech company. Inshort; as a Software Tester / QA you:
•    Test Automation Development: Develop andmaintain automated test scripts using one of the tools likeSelenium webdriver, python, pytest and robot frame work to validatethe functionality, and user experience of our POSapplications.
•    Manual Testing:Perform manual testing activities, including exploratory testing,usability testing, and ad-hoc testing to uncover issues that maynot be caught through automation.
•   Agile Methodology: Work within an agile developmentenvironment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, andother agile ceremonies to ensure timely delivery of high-qualitysoftware.
•    Test Planning andStrategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testobjectives, strategies, and test plans for frontend testing,including both automated and manual test cases.
•    Test Execution: Execute both automated andmanual test cases, analyze test results, and report defects withdetailed information to assist developers in issueresolution.
•    Regression Testing:Ensure that existing functionality remains intact throughregression testing and continuous integration processes.
•    Bug Tracking: Utilize bug tracking systemsto report, prioritize, and manage defects. Work closely withdevelopers to verify bug fixes.
•   Cross-Browser and Cross-Platform Testing: Ensurecompatibility across various applications and devices.
•    Documentation: Create and maintain testdocumentation, including test plans, test cases, and testreports.
•    Continuous Improvement:Actively participate in process improvement initiatives, suggestingand implementing best practices for testing methodologies andautomation processes.
•    Collaboration:Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA teammembers to ensure that quality standards are met throughout thedevelopment lifecycle.

•    Experience as asoftware tester with experience with integration, regression,functional; manual and automation; POS applications ,API/services;
•    Proven experience infrontend automation testing using tools like Selenium WebDriver,python and pytest.
•    Experience withtesting User-Interfaces.
•    Familiaritywith version control systems (e.g., Git)
•   Demonstrable experience in QA methodologies and attention todetails;
•    Ability to translate impactanalysis into test scenarios to increase test coverage;
•    Experience with Agile/Scrummethodologies;
•    Experience with bugtracking and reporting tools e.g. JIRA
•   A personality with high-energy and curiosity to exploreother systems and processes in the company and aim to incorporatethis knowledge in testing for your team;
•   Experience in SQL, Kafka testing is a plus;
•    Experience integrating automation tests inCI/CD pipelines is a plus;
