LCA Consultant

We focus on making products more sustainable. Our goal, which will soon be yours as well, is to find the best solutions for the challenges our clients face.
As an LCA consultant, you will be responsible for conducting LCAs for various products, with a focus on building materials and installations. You will dive into the production process and all available product data with the client and translate this into environmental impacts across various impact categories (such as climate change and the environmental impact score, or MKI). The findings and results are presented in a report for the client. Naturally, you will also advise the client on how to improve the LCA score of their product and how they can use their LCAs effectively. Additionally, we also do a lot of review work on existing LCAs.
Nice to meet you The Circularity, Energy, and Sustainability Team
From day one, you will be part of our enthusiastic team. The LCA team consists mainly of young professionals with a wealth of knowledge in various fields. We can be a bit stubborn at times, but always driven. The team is part of the Built Environment department, which includes over 50 specialists with expertise and extensive experience in areas such as building inspections, installation advice, fire safety, environment, and sustainability.
Working from home is not a problem, though we would love to see you at one of our offices in Heeswijk or Amsterdam . Within the team, you will have every opportunity to take initiative. If you enjoy getting things done, you’ll fit in perfectly with us
Requirements
To excel as an LCA consultant, you should have a higher education (HBO or MSc) in a field related to sustainability, such as environmental science or industrial ecology, and ideally have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Life Cycle Assessments. If you have already worked with the software program SimaPro during your studies or previous jobs, that’s a bonus. Additionally, you should be fluent in English and have basic knowledge of Dutch.
The role requires the following skills:
Analytical thinking, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a service-oriented attitude. In addition to collaborating with colleagues, we would like you to have project management skills and contribute ideas to the organization. Taking initiative and "getting things done" comes naturally to you.
