About the Role:

As a Senior Full Stack React Developer, you'll be at the forefront of our development efforts, working on products addressing our large user base coming from Thingiverse and Cura. From crafting immersive 3D scenes using React and Three.js, to optimizing performance with Fiber and Vite. Your expertise will drive our products to new heights. You'll play a key role in architecting solutions, managing state, and handling events across our applications. Plus, with your knowledge of Docker, Git, and Jira, you'll ensure seamless collaboration and efficient workflows within our agile team.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Dive deep into our component-based architecture, identifying pain points and proposing elegant solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into scalable, performant features.

- Utilize your expertise in geometric algorithms and 3D scene manipulation to create immersive user experiences.

- Lead by example, mentoring junior developers and transferring knowledge to ensure continuous growth and development within the team.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in React and web development, sharing insights and best practices with the wider team.

- Working on products which involve contributing to open source but are not solely focused on it

- Working on products with tech stack that involves React, JavaScript, and potentially C++, without limiting it only to those technologies

What You Bring:

- 7 + years of experience with React and Three.js

- Proficiency in HTML, (S)CSS, TypeScript, and optionally C++ and WASM

- Strong familiarity with Docker, Git

- Agile mindset with experience working in Scrum teams

- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, with excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Self-awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving

- Deep understanding of state management, props, and event handling with in React applications

- Knowledge of geometric algorithms and 3D scene manipulation techniques like linear algebra and WebGL

- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences

Bonus Points:

- University Degree or work equivalent experience

- Previous experience working on projects like Cura Engine or Thingiverse

- Contributions to open source projects or a strong GitHub profile showcasing your work

- 3D printing experience / knowledge

- CAD (computer aided design) experience
