What does an (all-round) logistics employeedo?

A logistic worker is someone who fulfills anexecutive and organizing function in a warehouse or distributioncenter. During the entire process of delivery, storage andshipping, the logistics employee is responsible for the correctcourse of processes. The position of logistics employee iscomparable to that of order picker. The difference is that an orderpicker is primarily responsible for the collection, completion andpreparation of shipments, where a logistics employee has a broaderrange of tasks.

In general, logistics /forwarding employees have the followingtasks:

  • Loading/unloading trucks andpreparing orders for shipment
  • Packing, sorting,and labeling goods
  • Performing quality checksand processing returns
  • Managing inventory andhandling administrative tasks

At thiscompany you work in 2 shifts. You will mainly be involved inlogistical tasks with, for example, an EPT. Relatively less as aforklift driver.

Your working hours are fromMonday to Friday; one week from 6:00am - 3:00pm and the other weekfrom 3:00pm - 12:00am.

Speaking and understanding the English language ismandatory for this role.
