Commissioning Engineer – Renewable Energy

  • Lead the commissioning of renewable energysystems, including performing initial tests, calibration, andsystem validation
  • Oversee the installation andstart-up processes for solar farms, wind turbines, or energystorage systems
  • Collaborate with projectmanagers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integrationof renewable energy technologies
  • Conduct safetyinspections, performance tests, and troubleshooting to ensure allsystems meet regulatory and operationalstandards
  • Document commissioning processes,test results, and system performance
  • Providetechnical support and training to clients and operators during thehandover of energy systems
  • Ensure compliancewith environmental and safety regulations throughout thecommissioning phase
  • Travel frequently toproject sites for the commissioning, testing, and validationprocesses

Functie-eisen
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inElectrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering (or relatedfield)
  • At least 3 years of experience incommissioning renewable energy systems such as wind farms, solarplants, or battery storage systems
  • In-depthunderstanding of electrical systems, testing procedures, andtroubleshooting
  • Proven experience in working oncomplex, large-scale renewable energyprojects
  • Ability to work on-site and coordinatewith multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellentcommunication skills in English (Dutch is aplus)
  • Willingness to travel both nationally andinternationally for project commissioning andtesting
