Support the Chairman, Vice Chairman and members of the Supervisory Board
Support meeting processes
Support Annual General Meeting of Shareholders
Stakeholder management
Administrative tasks Company Secretariat

As Executive Assistant for the Company Secretary, you support the Company Secretary in ensuring good, transparent and efficient meeting and decision-making processes at the top level of the primary decision-making bodies(Supervisory Board, Supervisory Board committees, Management Board and Executive Committee) of the group company Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize N.V. that is listed at the Amsterdam Stock Exchange.

In this role you will support the Chairman, Vice Chairman and other members of the Supervisory Board. You will manage an adequate process of distribution of meeting materials at the top level of the organization. We expect the Executive Assistant to be pro-active and anticipate needs, to be responsive and adaptable, to be familiar with technological requirements, to reflect our company values, and to operate to the highest discretion standards.

Context
The Executive Assistant is part of the Company Secretariat. and reports to the Company Secretary and works closely together with the Deputy Company Secretary. The Executive Assistant has a more supporting role while the Deputy Company Secretary has a more executing and content-related role. Main other stakeholders involved are the members of the Supervisory Board, Management Board and Executive Committee, heads of group functions such as Legal, Treasury, A&R, Internal Audit, etc, and their assistants and associates. External stakeholders are the external auditor, external advisors, shareholders etc. Tasks are performed in a highly demanding environment which requires full time availability (40 hours a week) with flexible and sometimes irregular working hours.

Combine a degree in a relevant field of study, for example Legal Secretary or Executive Assistant, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, e.g., in a similar role Are versed in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and with Adobe Pro Have a high level of discretion, a strict adherence to privacy and confidentiality is required Are highly motivated, a proactive person who is hands-on with capability to initiate problem solving to get results quickly Have the ability to self-manage, including to prioritize work(load) Pay strong attention to detail and organization Are Customer oriented Have strong follow-up skills through a careful system of organization Are as caring, courageous and growth-minded as your colleagues, and are happy to embrace and advocate the #daretocare philosophy

A gross annual salary between 38.000 and 50.000 euro. This is including holiday allowance.
