Senior Manager/Manager, Administration (at the rank of Administrative Assistant II/Executive Officer) in the Asia Global Institute (Ref.: 524197) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should have a good university degree with at least 8 years’ working experience in project management with strong administration and communications skills. They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese), good organisational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. They should be outgoing and confident; able to work productively with multiple parties; and a team player yet able to work under their own initiative. Applicants should also possess the ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment, and work to deadlines. Working outside normal office hours may be required.
The appointee will be an all-around, hands-on administrative professional who can support the Institute’s operations in areas of HR, finance and administration; project management such as the APEC study center; and other duties as assigned. S/he will act as the Institute’s primary liaison with the University’s administrative offices under the Director of Operations, as well as personal assistant to the Director of the Institute.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
