Do you want to make a health difference through nutrition with your scientific and methodological expertise in clinical research? We are looking for a Clinical Study Researcher in our team ‘NCRU & Explorative Clinical Studies’. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, work closely with the senior Explo Clinical Study Managers in the team and will report to the Sr Team leader NCRU & Explorative Clinical Studies. The team’s clinical evidence focus is the set-up, initiation and conduct of explorative clinical studies of our specialized nutrition portfolio.
About the Job:
As a Clinical Study Researcher (CSR) you will provide scientific and methodological clinical expertise in our research and innovation projects. With your experience in clinical study methodology and scientific skills, you will be responsible for study design, writing of the protocol and analysis plan, interpretation and reporting of the study (results) in accordance with the clinical study plan, applicable legislation and Standard Operating Procedures.
You will:
Translate business needs, existing clinical and literature data into a clinical study protocol. Be member of a multi-disciplinary clinical study team. Provide methodological/scientific support during all phases of the clinical study. Assess feasibility of the study protocol and be involved in the investigator selection process. Interpret results and write the clinical study report. Safeguard the quality of your studies. Liaise with scientists and health professionals Build internal and external networks of Key Opinion Leaders/investigators/experts and other stakeholders. Supervise third parties if activities are outsourced.
About You
You have a university degree and/or PhD (preferred) in life science or related scientific discipline and have profound experience in (international) clinical research in an academic setting or the (bio-) pharmaceutical industry. You have thorough scientific knowledge in study methodology and expertise concerning clinical research and literature data.
In addition, you bring:
Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, legislation, SOPs and clinical study methodology. Scientific expertise in nutrition-related clinical research is an advantage. Excellent command of spoken and written English for writing protocols, study documents, papers, reports and delivering presentations. Pragmatic attitude and be adaptable to the changing needs of the to work very precise and to solve complex challenges. Ability to think logically and analytically. Good time management and organizational skills. Ability to interact and communicate effectively.
