As QESH Specialist, you will be responsible forensuring a safe and healthy working environment within innovativeBiotech Science laboratories. You do this by informing, advisingand coaching the QESH team on all aspects of QESH to promote asecure, healthy, incident-free workplace both today and in thefuture. Your key responsibilities include:

• Act as an advisor, coach and trainer for line managers intheir daily activities as being a leader and a role model for SHEand Q within the organization.
• Coach and train(new) laboratory employees regarding application of QESH. Thisconcerns practical measures to be used in the experimental setup,as well as to the workplace (ergonomics checks) in labs andoffices.
• Build, maintain, manage and improvethe QESH Management System.
• Guide and supportcompliance to new and existing Q and SHE legislations, requirementsand standards (including the execution of gapassessments)
• Organizing and executing auditsand management review
• Lead SHE Riskassessments in labs and offices, such as assessments on Job Safety,Health Risks, Machine Safety
• Lead & reportRoot Cause Analysis (RCAs) to determine the causes leading to QESHincidents and to gather effective solutions

Forthis role as QESH Specialist we are looking for you when yourecognize yourself in the following profile:

• Hbo or MSc degree in the field of Life Science orBiotechnology
• Strong experience working withina R&D and/or Laboratory environment
• Relevant QESH, Quality Management and/or SHE experiencein an industrial laboratory organization
• Adegree in Safety Engineering (HVK, MVK) is considered as aplus
• Being skilled in application of dedicatedsoftware and digital tools is a prerequisite
• Fluency in English and Dutch (written andspoken)
• Flexible, result oriented mindset,can-do mentality
