Facilities Electrician, Work Dynamics

At JLL, we have an exciting job opportunity for an experienced electrician specializing in the residential and office environments of Den Haag. We are looking for a skilled individual with a strong background in electrical engineering, who is passionate about delivering high-quality service in a variety of settings.

As an electrician at JLL, you will have the opportunity to work independently and safely on a wide range of electrical projects, utilizing your extensive knowledge and experience in the field. Your responsibilities will include installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings, ensuring they meet industry standards and comply with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical wiring, switchboards, power supply, inverters, lighting systems, and other electrical components in residential and office settings. Conduct thorough inspections to identify faults, determine appropriate solutions, and implement necessary repairs or upgrades. Collaborate with colleagues, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project execution, resolve technical issues, and deliver high-quality results. Interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications to accurately plan and execute electrical installations. Coordinate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and HVAC technicians, to facilitate effective project coordination and completion. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide expert advice to clients.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an electrician or electrical technician, preferably with a focus on residential and commercial properties. In-depth knowledge of high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems. Possess a relevant technical education diploma or certificate at MBO level 3 or 4, such as MTS-E, MSI, EMSI, or equivalent. Hold a valid VCA certification or be willing to obtain one. Proficient in both Dutch and English languages, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Possession of a valid B(E) driver's license. Familiarity with NEN-1010 and/or -3140 regulations. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, team members, and external stakeholders.
