Summary of the position:

The Logistics Manager EMEA APAC is responsible for logistic operational excellence throughout EMEA & APAC territories. With two direct reports, in this role you will coordinate the execution of warehousing and transport. You are responsible for 3PL activities and managing the own facility. For transport inbound from suppliers and manufacturing plant plus all the outbound transport to the network. In this role you are first-tier contact for our forwarders and solve logistic inquiries from our Dealer network adequately, ensuring all departments with logistic needs work within timelines and budget.

In this role you are constantly combining and coordinating activities to produce and maintain operations at the most efficient level, while deep diving into detailed issues when needed. You strategically plan next steps of development for the business in EMEA and APAC, working beyond immediate challenges and considering long-term implications and opportunities from an helicopter view.

The Logistics Manager works closely with our Aftersales, Sales Operations and Marketing departments EMEA-APAC to deliver Motorcycles, Parts & Accessories and anything needed on a daily basis. The Logistics Manager is a fulltime position based in Noord-Scharwoude, The Netherlands and reports directly to our Managing Director After Sales EMEA APAC.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the execution of 3PL activities.Manage third parties: MBR and QBR with freight forwarders and third-party logistics to ensure that Motorcycles, Parts & Accessories and any other need, are shipped (ocean, road and air) in a timely manner. Provide creative and effective input to help optimize current systems and procedures with the goal of increasing efficiency. Implement, review and analyse KPI’s of the 3PL and freight forwarders. Investigate Electronic Data Interfacing opportunities of our ERP system with Warehouse Management System at the 3PL. Manage the team daily operations and department budget. Coordinate and manage shipments (and shipping documents) of Company Owned Vehicles. Periodically update the Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service departments about the status of their fleet. Coordinate and monitor goods-movements and maintain inventory stock levels with global Sales Operations, After Sales and Marketing departments to meet industrial standards. Lead Physical Inventory stock count activities at own facility and 3PL. Support EMEA markets in identifying & driving opportunities to improve logistics performance and pricing. Keep track of returned parts and warranty replacement parts. Make sure that the Return Material are authorized and managed.

Required Education/Experience:

You have at least an MBO+ degree in related area and- or you can demonstrate at least 3 Years working experience in similar positions. International experience in bilingual Automotive, OEM or equivalent is preferred. Advanced level of Excel and ideally experience with SAP

Skills and Attributes

Proficiency with computer applications, including Windows Word and Excel is a must.Strong communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive data-driven decisions and process improvements.Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and transportation modes relevant to the EV sector.Proficiency in both Dutch and English at professional level. Deep knowledge of specific requirements of your region of responsibility.Knowledge of shipper applications and web-based track & tracing is a must.Organized, attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient administrative skills and multitasker.Both strong team-player as independent worker.No-nonsense mentality.A wide degree of creativity, stress tolerance and latitude is expected.Passion for motorcycles and/or Electric Vehicles is a plus.Knowledge of relevant applications such as ERP and Salesforce and SAP are preferred.

· Occasional business travelling (both domestically and internationally) might be required.
