Functieomschrijving

s a Test & Integration Engineer, youwill be part of the Test & Integration team within the assignedproject, managed by the Integration & Test Manager. You will beresponsible for a specific portion of the project's test andintegration program, including the development and execution ofinspection plans for the production, testing, and trials of newlybuilt naval vessels. In this role, you will conduct engineeringreviews, provide general project support during production, tests,and trials, and manage follow-ups in case of deviations,coordinating with key suppliers as necessary.

As a Test & Integration Engineer,your primary responsibilities will include:

• Establishing the Test &Integration program in alignment with project design, progress,overall project objectives, and timelines.
• Preparing and executing the project inspectionplan for production and following up on any deviations based on themaster project plan, specifications, and deliverydeadlines.
• Developing,executing, and coordinating test and trial plans according to themaster project plan, specifications, and delivery deadlines,including Type Tests, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), HarbourAcceptance Tests (HAT), and Sea Acceptance Tests(SAT).
• Participating incross-functional engineering reviews and approvals with projectteams and suppliers, encompassing all engineering disciplines andintegration activities.
•Monitoring and reporting on progress, including the performance ofthird parties, and intervening when necessary.
• Delivering status reports during production,trials, and tests.
•Collaborating closely with engineering departments to develop plansfor Testing & Integration.

Functie-eisen

• A relevant technical bachelor’s degree(HBO) and experience in project management, manufacturing, andcommissioning of complex new naval ships.
• Experience in subcontract management andintegration of complex mechanical, electrical, and automationsystems, including combined propulsion installations for newships.
• Expertise in variousengineering concepts and practices.
• Proficiency in Dutch, German, and English, bothwritten and spoken.
•Familiarity with computer applications such as Office, SAP, IBMDOORS, and 3DX.
• Strongreferences are required, as a pre-employment security screening isa standard part of the recruitmentprocess.
