It is a varied team ofpermanent and temporary colleagues, this can vary from a team of10-20 colleagues. 

Functieomschrijving

As a reachtruck driver at DHL in Beringe you willdrive a large part of the day on the reach truck, but you will alsoperform other work such as order picking or In/Outbound. Are youavailable fulltime for a longer period and do you want to enjoyyour weekend off? Then read on to see what your day looks like atDHL.

Your day starts in the morning between 7.00and 10.00 a.m. You need to be present on the work floor 10 minutesbefore your start time. You will then have a daily meeting withyour colleagues & team leader to go through the day together.Once everything is clear to everyone you will start working on thereach truck. Using a reach truck together with a hand scanner youplace the incoming goods in the higher rack or take them out soyour colleagues can prepare the pallets for dispatch. Should it bea quieter day or should there be a quiet moment during the day, youmay be able to help your other colleagues with In/Outbound, orderpicking or other activities. By working together with yourcolleagues you ensure that everyone finishes his/her workday ontime

  • You are full-time available from Monday toFriday between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm;
  • You haveyour own transportation;
  • You are fluent inDutch, German and/or English for safetyreasons;
  • You have a reach truck certificate orare willing to obtain o

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
  • A gross hourly wage of€13,68
  • If you drive 50% or more on the reachtruck in 3 months, a raise isattached; 
  • 130% allowance when workingbetween 6pm - 6am;
  • Vacation hours this amountsto 10% of your worked hours
  • 8,33% vacationpay;
  • A maximum travel allowance of €9,30 perday for 20 km or more one way;
  • At an annualappraisal you will receive a salary increase of on average between0%-3.5%;
  • A warm welcome to make you feel athome at DHL;
  • You start with a temporarycontract with Olympia, but with good performance there is a chancethat you can eventually be taken over by thecustomer.
