The Role
Wat ga je als Security Architect bij Defensie doen?
Jij gaat als Security Architect een belangrijke bijdrage leveren aan het ontwerp van veilige IT en beveiligingsoplossingen binnen het Grensverleggende IT-programma (GrIT) van Defensie. Hiervoor evalueer je bestaande beveiligingseisen en identificeer je mogelijke hiaten. Op basis van jouw onderzoek naar de nieuwste trends en mogelijkheden binnen de domeinen van security, cloud en IoT stel je verbeteringen voor die passen bij de strategie en de eisen van het ministerie. Zo zorg je ervoor dat het robuuste Defensie-systeem veilig is én blijft.
Vanzelfsprekend schakel je in jouw rol met meerdere stakeholders, veelal op senior posities. Of ze nu wel of geen technische achtergrond hebben, jij kunt ze allemaal efficiënt uitleggen wat de risico’s op securityvlak zijn en hen overtuigen van de door jou voorgestelde oplossingen. Jouw communicatieskills zijn daarom bovengemiddeld te noemen. Jij helpt ook bij de ontwikkeling en invoering van security en compliance regelgeving, zoals GDPR, PSD2 en Cybersecurity richtlijnen.
Waar ga je werken?
Als jouw nieuwe thuisbasis kun je kiezen uit een van de volgende locaties: Soesterberg, Den Helder of Maasland. Deels thuiswerken behoort tot de mogelijkheden.
Belangrijk om te weten: om voor Defensie te mogen werken moet je in het bezit zijn van de Nederlandse nationaliteit en een Nederlands paspoort. Je moet ook Nederlands kunnen spreken en schrijven.
Het hoofdkantoor van Kyndryl Nederland is gevestigd in het duurzame Pharos gebouw in Hoofddorp. Onze Kyndryl Social Club organiseert regelmatig informele en inspirerende activiteiten.

Who You Are
Welke kennis en ervaring breng je mee?
Minimaal 10 jaar relevante werkervaring, waarvan zeker 4 jaar als Security Architect;
Ervaring met het implementeren van beveiligingsprotocollen om de algemene IT-beveiliging te optimaliseren;
Kennis van en ervaring met de identificatie van de meest gangbare kwetsbaarheden in IT-beveiliging;
Je bent Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), of Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (CISSP-ISSAP);
Erkende brancheverenigingen als ISC2, ISACA, GIAC, EC-Council, CompTIA, ITIL of Comptia Security + hebben jou gecertificeerd;
Kennis van AWS of Azure Cloud architecture zien we als een pre.
