Your job asTechnical Logistics Coordinator:
Theprimary responsibility of this position is to maintain keydatabases, ensure timely shipments and apply quality control tosupport the group realise successful sales and service targets, aswell as delivering best-in-class customer service levels to supportexpansion and growth of the company’s services and products. Youwill be the first contact point for activities involving warehouseand transport vendors, to ensure full visibility and accountabilityof logistics and business relationships used for shipment of spareparts, sales goods and demonstration equipment for customer orders,loans, demonstrations, and trade shows. Your responsibilitiesinclude:
- Complete visual andinventory checks on all equipment returned from loan ordemonstration.
- Maintain the business systembooking tools to accurately reflect status of shipments andtransport.
- Create and contribute toimprovement of workflows and SOP's relatedto logistics.
- Coordinate all insuranceclaims related to lost or damaged inventory in transit.
- Escalate problems and outline possible future solutionsto management level when issues occur such as incorrectshipments, lost materials, and damages.
- Participate in physical audits of the inventory andbusiness assets at the storage location site.
- Prepare reports on status and trends for logistics asrequired.
- Own the transport and logisticscoordination of all inbound and outbound movements/collectionsof inventories.
