Job description

At Amaris Consulting we're committed to revolutionizing healthcare through innovative technology solution, and we're seeking a skilled Electrical Designer to join our dynamic team. As a member of our Research and Development (R&D) organization, you'll have the chance to contribute to developing, maintaining, and validating electrical components and systems that drive the future of medical intervention.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, validate, and verify electrical components, sub-systems, and solutions for Interventional Guided Therapy Systems.
  • Collaborate within an R&D multi-disciplinary team to apply research results and technological advancements.
  • Ensure compliance with international medical standards and safety regulations for our systems and components.
  • Conduct electronics and electric maintenance and design, including requirements development, verification, reporting, and documentation.
  • Assure design quality, reliability, and patient safety of medical products developed by Philips and our partners.
  • Define test strategy and plans, conduct testing, and report findings to comply with Safety and EMC medical international standards and regulations.
  • Manage interconnection and interfaces such as cabling, harnesses, and connectors.
  • Set up, work with, and deploy Eplan within the organization.
  • Foster effective and efficient cooperation with teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Drive progress, report on tasks, and align with other functions including mechanical, mechatronics, norm compliance, test and validation, purchase, and quality.
  • Support the electronics and electrical team vision, mission, and strategy.
  • Provide support for continuous factory operations.

Profile Requirements:

  • Hold a Master of Science or related technical degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, mechatronics engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Possess a minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in a professional engineering environment.
  • Demonstrate at least 5 years of experience in the medical or other highly regulated industry.
  • Show experience in new product introduction and/or life-cycle development.
  • Exhibit proficiency in electronics system design, validation, and verification.
  • Understand medical quality management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Preferred experience working in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
