CareerScout has been exclusively retained to recruit BI Consultants for a prominent consultancy located near Arnhem in the Netherlands that is fast-growing and requires new talent. About the Role

Our clients BI Consultants are embedded in teams, with other Consulting colleagues as well as team members of our customers or other consultancy firms, integrated in the customer’s business processes. Self-management is expected. Consultants are present on customers locations at least 1 or 2 days a week. We also expect consultants to visit our office location regularly to attend meetings.

BI Consulting roles share the same foundation in knowledge, including technical, functional, methodical and conceptual knowledge. Differences can be found in specific tooling and / or specific fields of work and knowledge of a specific technology stacks.

The ideal candidate requirements

·      Good understanding of both IT as well as Business, building bridges.

·      Capacity to lead a team or workgroup.

·      Strategic thinking and planning. (Senior BI Consultant)

·      Capacity to design and lead projects and programs. (Senior BI Consultant)

·      Experience in or capacity for roles as scrum master or product owner. (Senior BI Consultant)

·      Knowledgeable in data management (including data quality and data governance), security and working methods. (Senior BI Consultant)

Education and requirements/technical skills required

·      A minimum of bachelor level required.

·      Background in Neuropsychology, Business IT Management, Artificial Intelligence, Economics, Computational Science, Mathematics, scientific, quantitative and/or research component in their studies.

·      Microsoft stack, Databricks stack with Data modelling

·      A candidate should be experienced in working in the Microsoft Azure environment with its respective connected languages/systems. (data engineering on Azure platform, very much desired)

·      Data engineering / ETL (including data modelling)

·      Reporting and visualization (including dashboarding)

·      Understanding of or experience in data analysis and data science

·      Data modelling concepts and methods

·      Information need analysis, business need analysis, acquiring needs and requirements of clients/users
