Introduction to the job
We are looking for an experience Supply Chain Engineer who will lead improvement projects in a dynamic environment. As Supply Chain Engineer you will initiate improvement projects within the department Global Warehouse Solutions (GWS) and you will also contribute to cross-sector projects. You will continuously improve, secure and standardize operational logistics processes, including integration with SAP and other IT tooling.
In your role you can grow towards the role of Global Subject Matter Expert for Warehouse Processes or Product Owner.
Role and responsibilities
Lead logistic improvement projects Identify potential improvement projects while keeping a smart balance between customer intimacy and staying truth to the ASML standards Design and implement logistics processes and systems Implementation of logistics solutions, including supplier selection and training of employees Optimalisation of logistics processes by analyzing processes and initiate improvements Driving the structural improvement program within GWS in general
Education and experience
Bachelor or Master in business engineering, industrial engineering, operational management or logistics. 7+ years’ experience in operational logistics & engineering Project, Program and Portfolio management knowledge and experience Track record of leading process improvement projects Hands-on experience with continuous improvements based on lean principles and effective change management Experience with Scaled Agile Framework Experience with SAP-EWM, their set-up and application is a pre Experience with simulation or process mining is a pre Experience with automated storage and retrieval systems is a pre
