The Team

The Tommy Hilfiger Global Store Design and Visual Experience department is responsible for providing consumers the most compelling store and showroom experience through concept design, visual merchandising and windows across all channels and markets. Working collaboratively with the APAC, Americas and EMEA regions, this central team delivers the strategy, concepts and tools needed for regional rollout.

The Windows and Concepts design team oversee the creative strategy and seasonal concepts for windows, showrooms & pop ups worldwide, working in close collaboration with Global Marketing to bring our big brand stories to life in our consumer touchpoints.

The Position

The Senior Manager Windows & Concepts , part of the Windows, pop ups & Showrooms team reporting to the Senior Director Windows & Concepts, is responsible for the global design and development of holistic windows, pop ups and showroom creative, working collaboratively to lead a team of design specialists from creative research to spatial planning. Key responsibilities include:

Design the seasonal concept strategy for windows, pop ups and showrooms across all divisions and channels, on-time and within budget, in close collaboration with the Senior Director Windows & Concepts

Deliver seasonal, brand relevant window schemes for retail and wholesale stores globally

Deliver non-seasonal window concepts and best-in-class window principles for regional execution

Design and deliver seasonal showroom concepts across all divisions, including B2B digital showrooms, partnering with Divisional merchandising teams to identify the seasonal product focuses & related VM requirements

Manage the design development and approval process of all concepts, including design revisions

Collaborate with Project Manager and Production Specialist on detailed briefings for regional production and rollout

Collaborate with regional teams on key deliverables, cultural/local requirements & execution standards

Partner with creative teams across the department and business to ensure visual alignment across consumer touchpoints

Lead a team of designers including talent development

Oversee team project planning and priorities ensuring on-time delivery of deliverables and consistent creative output, in close collaboration with Project Manager

Support in key window and showroom installations

Work with the production specialist to ensure design and production process works seamlessly, ensuring all prototyping, sampling and sustainability processes are adhered to and delivered for best quality and execution.

The Ideal Candidate

Related university degree + 5 years’ work experience, preferably leading a creative design team

A passion for global retail and design trends

Experience partnering with a design/prop production agency

Retail and wholesale interior experience

Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, Autocad, SketchUp and V-Ray rendering software

Excellent knowledge of Outlook and Excel

Ability to time manage responsibilities in accordance with deadlines

Ability to lead through example and inspire a highly effective team

Fluent English communication skills [written and spoken]
