Senior Design & Proposal Engineer Marine & Offshore – - uur – mbo/hbo
Eekels | TBI is op zoek naar een Senior Design & Proposal Engineer voor de Business Unit Marine & Offshore voor de locatie Kolham en/of Gorinchem. In deze functie speel je een cruciale rol in het offerteproces voor elektrische installaties en systemen voor schepen. Tevens draag je bij aan zeer uiteenlopende projecten binnen de dynamische maritieme industrie.
Eekels is een elektrisch, technisch en mechanisch specialist, evenals een innovatieve coproducent van elektrische concepten en een onafhankelijke systeemintegrator voor maritieme markten zoals naval, research, merchant, offshore & wind, cruises, en ferry’s. Met meer dan honderd jaar aan expertise en ervaring, gekwalificeerde medewerkers, wereldwijd partner- en servicenetwerk en toonaangevende oplossingen, is Eekels een voorloper op het gebied van Zero Emission Technology. Eekels is een productpartner en een one-stop-shop met een volledig scala aan diensten, waaronder paneelbouw.
Als Senior Design & Proposal Engineer maak je deel uit van het Design & Proposal-team en heb je een aanzienlijke impact in de aanvraagfase. Je analyseert de behoeften van de klant en draagt bij aan de ontwikkeling van functionele conceptontwerpen, specificaties, calculaties en offertes op basis van systeemeffectiviteit en duurzaamheid. Zodra een order is bevestigd, zie je toe op een naadloze overgang van het dossier naar het projectteam.

Wat wordt er van jou verwacht?
Technische kracht achter het salesteam, dat verantwoordelijk is voor de commerciële onderhandelingen met de klant; Onderhouden van contacten en bespreken van aanvragen met de klant om de best passende offerte te kunnen aanbieden; Vertalen van klantwensen naar een voorontwerp, dat de basis vormt voor het uitvoeren en samenstellen van de technische specificaties, begroting en voorstel aan de klant; Spelen van een cruciale, ondersteunende rol bij de verkoop van complete installaties en complexe technische systemen en producten; Strategie bepalen, in overleg met de Manager Design & Proposal, om op tijd en met de gewenste technisch-inhoudelijke nauwkeurigheid aan te bieden; Verantwoordelijk voor het berekenen van een betrouwbare kostprijs onderbouwd in een compleet dossier; Selecteren van toeleveranciers en onderaannemers en onderhouden van contacten met interne leveranciers; Initiëren van verbetervoorstellen (procesverbetering, standaardcalculaties, calculatietools), indien nodig, die leiden tot een versterking van de concurrentiepositie van Eekels.Herken je jezelf in dit profiel?
Mbo/hbo werk- en denkniveau; Ervaring in elektrotechniek of een opleiding richting elektrotechniek is een pré; Ervaring op het gebied van de energietransitie is een pré; Ervaring met systemen in de maritieme sector is een pré; Meer dan 5 jaar werkzaam als engineer en kunt, na een korte introductieperiode, zelfstandig aan de slag; Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift.Wil je meer weten?
