ePlan Architect

Initial 6 month freelance contract + extensions

For our R&D department we are looking for a ePlan Architect for a minimum expected duration of 6 months with an option to extend. You will be part of our eCAD team and work as a technical lead on our ePlan strategy and design for our egg sorting and packaging machines.

YOUR FUNCTION
Our client is the global market leader in innovative machines for sorting, packaging, and processing eggs. From design, development, production, and installation to service, all of this can be found in Barneveld.
As an ePlan Architect you are primarily responsible for setting up an eCAD strategy and you will then implement it according to the detailed step-by-step plan. What kind of activities can you specifically think of?
* Understand and improve our company-wide CTO process flow from a hardware perspective;
* In collaboration with the other disciplines, set up our client's eCad vision and strategy for both our existing and new portfolio and also propagate this in the rest of the organization;
* Standardize and roll out ePlan (drawings and articles) processes and methods;
* Setting up mechatronic, modular, and configurable ePlan project templates;
* Prepare automation (tooling) advice and implement roadmap;

WHAT DO WE ASK FROM YOU?
* Proven experience in a similar position is a must;
* Analytical thinking and persuasiveness;
* Involvement and passion in the development of the chosen solution;
* Knowledge and experience of mechanical engineering standards and guidelines is a must;
* A good command of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written.
