Ben jij een expert in datamanagement en business intelligence (BI)? Als onze nieuwe Application Engineer Digitalization zorg je ervoor dat onze rapportagesystemen een flinke boost krijgen. Jij vertaalt rapportagebehoeften naar oplossingen in ons toekomstig BI-platform. Jij weet hoe je diverse databronnen samenbrengt en data transformeert (ETL) om vervolgens de rapportage op te zetten in Power BI. Met jouw inzet verbeteren we ons datamanagement, maken we rapportages toegankelijker en bruikbaarder om inzichten te krijgen en besluitvorming te bevorderen.

NEDCON is een wereldspeler op het gebied van opslagsystemen. Van manuele magazijnstellingen en semiautomatische systemen tot een integrale aanpak voor complexe en geautomatiseerde magazijninrichtingen. Wij ontwerpen, produceren, begeleiden, monteren en installeren deze systemen over de hele wereld. En dat doen we al sinds 1969.

Dit ga je doen

Als Application Engineer Digitalization houd je je bezig met het ontwikkelen, implementeren en optimaliseren van onze Business Intelligence (BI) strategieën, met focus op ons toekomstige BI-platform. BI-strategieën zijn benaderingen die we gebruiken om data te verzamelen en analyseren om zo beter onderbouwde beslissingen te nemen.

Daarbij werk je veel samen met de afdeling IT, de afdeling P&T en jouw eindklant, de business. Hierbij ondersteun je alle NEDCON-vestigingen. Je ondersteunt in het ontwerpen en vormgeven van het toekomstige IT-landschap om de integratie van BI-oplossingen te optimaliseren.

Daarnaast ga je op onderzoek uit wat de mogelijkheden van AI en RPA (Robotic Process Automation) zijn en ontwikkel je strategieën om deze technologieën te integreren. Kortom, jouw startpunt is de data en vanuit daar ga je bezig met Analytics/BI, Automation en AI.

Jouw werkzaamheden in een notendop:

BI-oplossing ontwikkelen en implementeren Gegevensanalyses en visualisatie Applicatieoptimalisatie en onderhoud Onderzoeken en evalueren van nieuwe technieken Samenwerking en kennisoverdracht met cross-functionele teams, waaronder IT, data-analisten en business units binnen NEDCON

Jouw team

Je maakt deel uit van de afdeling Products & Applications binnen de Unit Products & Technology. Deze afdeling bestaat uit 15 collega’s die verantwoordelijk zijn voor het centraal beheer en onderhoud van data en het functioneel beheer van de softwareapplicaties.

We hebben een divers en dynamisch team, met een mix van jong talent en ervaren professionals, werkend in een internationale omgeving. Met onze hands-on mentaliteit steken we graag de handen uit de mouwen en gaan we geen enkele uitdaging uit de weg.
