About the role
As a Field Application Engineer , you'll be at the heart of our customer relationships, serving as the vital link between our clients and our product development team. Your role will be essential in understanding customer needs, specifications, and expectations, and translating them into actionable technical requirements for our developers. You will play a crucial part in testing, installing, and troubleshooting our products or systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards. Beyond technical tasks, you'll provide invaluable feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement. Your expertise will also be key in delivering training, comprehensive documentation, and exceptional after-sales support to our customers, fostering lasting and positive relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Use our versatile product building blocks to design and configure systems that precisely meet customer requirements.
- Conduct thorough testing of systems based on pre-defined qualification procedures to ensure dependable performance.
- Tackle system-level challenges, diagnosing issues, and offering innovative solutions to enhance performance.
- Address and resolve hardware-related technical issues, ensuring smooth operation and peak efficiency.
- Create detailed and comprehensive documentation to empower customers with the knowledge they need.
- Collaborate with internal and external certification bodies, ensuring our systems comply with EMC and safety standards.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop tailored system solutions that align with customer expectations.

Profile
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Familiar with server / computer hardware
Proficient in scripting and automation languages, such as Bash or Python, for task automation and testing
Analytical mindset with the ability to quickly assess issues and identify root causes.
Highly motivated and capable of working effectively under minimal supervision.
