As a Gas Safety Architect, you'll translate top-levelsafety requirements into specific ones for different users in thesystem. You'll communicate with and, when necessary, negotiatebetween responsible functional teams. These teams ensure that thedesigns meet the Gas Safety Architects' requirements, and you'llreview them to ensure compliance with safetystandards.

Another key aspect is bringing thesystem into operation with all specified safety functions,requiring gas safety verification tests during the specificationphase. Additionally, you'll align end-users, both within ASMLfactories and at customer sites, on designchanges.

  • Understandthe function of media for end-users within the lithographytool.
  • Conduct analyses and calculations topredict architecture or subsystem functionality (risk assessments,safety levels).
  • Develop group competence asnecessary through literature research, experimental testing, orsupervision of external researchpartners.
  • Negotiate, define, document, andpresent architecture or subsystemspecifications.
  • Translate specifications togenerate a safety system, including electronics and software, andguide during the detailed designprocess.
  • Ensure functional integration of thesafety architecture into the system or subsystem, proving,documenting, and presenting its proper functioning using offlineand/or machine tests.
  • Troubleshoot issuesrelated to the safety architecture on the system orsubsystem.
  • Effectively communicate Gas Safetyknowledge and requirements to a wideraudience.

  • Support GasSafety release.
  • Translate Gas Safetyrequirements to module requirements.
  • Supportcustomer escalations.
  • Support integrationactivities/tests.
  • Create and deliver Gas safetydocumentation.
  • Guide others to meet Gas Safetyrequirements or adherence.

Functie-eisen
  • 5+ years ofexperience in a Gas Safety role.
  • Bachelor orMasters degree
