Snap Lab is home to our hardware products with a world-class research & development team. We are focused on pushing the boundaries of what a camera can be, specifically overlaying computing on the real world. Next Generation are our first pair of glasses that bring augmented reality to life.
We are looking for a Senior Compiler Engineer to join our team in Eindhoven.
In this role, you will contribute to an world-class user-friendly software development kit (SDK) that enables programming for embedded AI / ML System on Chip (SoC). You will be working at the cutting edge of technology, artificial intelligence, machine learning frameworks, software, SoCs, sensors, and applications.
Responsibilities
Specification and development of MLIR-based compilers and development tools for ML applications targeting embedded AI / ML SoCsModeling the functionality and performance of embedded AI / ML processorsDevelopment of test cases for such tools and flowsContributing to roadmap-setting for the SDK, and the team’s product portfolio in generalContributions to hardware architecture, from the perspectives of application performance and programmability.Playing an active role in enabling use cases (demonstrators, proof of concepts, benchmark applications)Providing support towards internal and external users of our SDKRequirements
MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field5+ years of proven experience in developing compilers, software applications or tooling for domain-specific AI / ML processors or other similar resource-constrained hardwareGood understanding of modern software design and development practicesExperience with modern C++Experience with modern compiler frameworks, such as TVM, LLVM, MLIR, or GLOWAbility to write clean, scalable, maintainable production-level codeExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills in English (both speaking and writing)Team player with good interpersonal skillNice to have
General understanding of state-of-the-art deep learning concepts, methods and modelsExperience working with TensorFlow and/or PyTorch.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.This position is based at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, home of 160 companies, employing a total of 11,000 entrepreneurs and R&D employees.
