Humanitas is er voor mensen in heel Nederland die het even niet in hun eentje redden. Ze vinden steun in een van onze meer dan 700 activiteiten. Deze zijn verdeeld over de thema's: eenzaamheid, opvoeden, opgroeien, detentie, verlies en thuisadministratie. Jaarlijks geven onze vrijwilligers tienduizenden mensen het zelfvertrouwen terug dat ze nodig hebben om op eigen kracht iets aan hun situatie te veranderen. Lokale afdelingen organiseren activiteiten van Humanitas. Het werkgebied van onze afdeling omvat de gemeenten Leek, Marum, Zuidhorn en Grootegast.

Get a Grip

Vanaf je zestiende krijg je serieus te maken met geldzaken. En vanaf je achttiende jaar krijg je nog meer verantwoordelijkheden en verplichtingen. Voor jongeren tussen de 16 en 24 jaar in het Westerkwartier staan de vrijwilligers van Humanitas Get a Grip klaar om jongeren hierbij te helpen. Voor deze activiteit zijn wij op zoek naar zowel jonge vrijwilligers die zich makkelijk in de wereld van jongeren kunnen inleven en wat oudere vrijwilligers die het leuk vinden jongeren te begeleiden bij hun financiën.

 

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden vrijwilliger Get a Grip

  • Ondersteunt jongeren bij (dreigende) financiële problemen
  • Neemt niet over maar coached de jongere bij het zelf oplossen / voorkomen van zijn problemen
  • Geeft de jongere inzicht in zijn uitgaven
  • Helpt bij het voeren van gesprekken met derden
  • Motiveert de jongere zijn keuzes te maken op basis van het beschikbare budget
  • Neemt deel aan intervisie bijeenkomsten om ervaringen te delen

 

Wat we vragen

  • Affiniteit met de visie en de waarden van Humanitas
  • Kennis van en affiniteit met financiële thuisadministratie van jongeren
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden
  • Goed kunnen luisteren, coachende vaardigheden, mensen kunnen enthousiasmeren en binden, kunnen omgaan met feedback
  • Goede computervaardigheden
  • Flexibel inzetbaar
  • Woonachtig in het Westerkwartier
  • Een Verklaring omtrent het gedrag (de kosten vergoedt Humanitas)
