Production Engineer

As a Production Engineer, your primary focus will beto ensure the successful introduction of new products in our pilotfactory. This involves reviewing designs, participating in FMEAprocesses, and validating production processes during pilot phases.You will optimize production processes, troubleshoot and resolveissues to facilitate seamless transition to volume production.Additionally, you will support upgrades and refurbishments of oursystems by conducting audits and preparing machine-specific workplans.
- Identify structural issues andcontribute insights to product development projects to anticipateproduction issues early in the design phase and enhancecost-effectiveness.
- Execute test sequences onevery first pilot system.
- Analyze productionprocesses within the pilot factory, identify structural problemsand bottlenecks, propose improvements, and collaborate closely withDevelopment, Operations, System Install, and Supply ChainEngineering to implement them.
- Expedite theresolution of complex faults by taking initiative and makingpractical decisions as needed.
- Coordinatematerial quality improvements for newparts.
- Define execution plans for refurbishmentsystems based on audit findings.
- Bachelor's degree in MechanicalEngineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Applied Physics,or equivalent.
- Preferably 3 years of experiencein a high-tech production environment, ideally in both assembly andtest environments.
- Familiarity with LeanManufacturing principles isadvantageous.
- Experience in TechnicalProduction Engineering and familiarity with quality methodologiessuch as statistical process control and FMEA is aplus.
- Knowledge of high vacuum technologyand/or high voltage systems ispreferred.
- Proactive mindset with a hands-onapproach, committed to safety andquality.
- Strong interpersonal skills with theability to influence and collaborateeffectively.
- Team player with broad technicaland business acumen.
- Proficiency inEnglish.
