- You can liftpackages up to 20 kg;
- You work neatly andaccurately;
- You enjoy being physicallyactive;
- A drivers license is handy but notrequired
As a logistic employee atGLS, you are responsible for sorting packages. Trucks deliveringpackages arrive daily to the main facility in Utrecht. You and yourcolleagues are responsible for loading and unloading these trucks.Afterwards, the packages must be sorted on postal code. A conveyorbelt and scanner are used to send the packages to the correctdepartment. Once this is done, the packages will ride with thedrivers to their destination. Packages of up to 20 kilograms can beprocessed.
- Sorting packages by zipcode;
- Working with a handscanner;
- Preparing packages fordelivery.
At GLS Zwolle you work in amotivated team that is responsible for the entire process ofprocessing packages. The warehouses distribute packages for thenorth-east Netherlands region. You, as a member of this team, makesure together with your team that the packages are delivered ontime to the customers.
