MAGIC FX is seeking an experienced and talented Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining embedded software systems that control and optimize our cutting-edge special effects products. You will work closely with our hardware engineers to design and implement software solutions that meet the functional and performance requirements of our products. Responsibilities
  • Designing, coding, testing, and debugging embedded software systems.
  • Developing software requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborating with hardware engineers to integrate software and hardware components.
  • Maintaining and enhancing existing embedded software systems.
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting software and system issues.
  • Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement software features and enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming languages.
  • Experience in embedded software development using microcontrollers and/or DSPs.
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded middleware.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in debugging and performance optimization of embedded systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
