Key focus areas encompass overseeing the datacenternetwork featuring Check Point firewalls, F5 load balancers, andAruba CX switching, as well as managing Internet/WAN, Remote AccessVPN, and cloud networks.


KeyResponsibilities:

  • Lead internalnetwork projects from a technicalstandpoint.
  • Devise roadmaps and plans to ensurenetwork security and future readiness.
  • Enhanceand maintain the network environment with a strong emphasis onsecurity and end-user experience.
  • SafeguardVanderlande's interests in negotiations and collaborations withpeers.
  • Assist stakeholders in finding solutionsfor specific business use cases.
  • Develop andmaintain high- and low-leveldesigns.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complexnetwork issues.
  • Escalate problems to vendorswhen necessary.
  • Automate tasks and implementimprovements.


KeyActivities:

  • Ensure networkavailability and performance through monitoring andanalysis.
  • Create network designs based onworkflow, access, information, and securityrequirements.
  • Execute (complex)changes.
  • Document and share knowledge withfirst- and second-line support engineers and otherdepartments.


Technologies inScope:

  • Check Point (MDM,firewalls).
  • Internet & WAN (IPSec VPN &BGP).
  • Network Load Balancers(F5).
  • Aruba CX routing and switching (ArubaCentral, BGP-EVPN, VXLAN, OSPF).
  • Cloudnetworking.
  • Automation (AWX Ansible, Python,PowerShell).

Functie-eisen
  • Bachelor's or master's degree ininformation technology or equivalent.
  • Previousor active employment in theNetherlands.
  • Proficient communication andinfluencing skills.
  • Over 5 years of experiencein IT networking.
  • Proven networking knowledge& skills (CCNP level or higher).
  • Experienceacting between business and service organizations in global telecomcompanies.
  • Experience within a globalorganization.
