Your contribution to TenneT

In the role of HSE Business Partner 2GW, you serve as the primary contact for a regional cluster within the Offshore 2GW program, overseeing all HSE-related activities. Your expertise spans all HSE areas, and you actively seek and coordinate the support of HSE Advisors as necessary.

• You provide functional leadership to the HSE Advisor(s) 2GW assigned to your regional cluster, ensuring they receive proper training and onboarding, and are well-versed in all current HSE documentation and processes relevant to the 2GW program.

• You assist the project team in implementing, maintaining, and, if necessary, adjusting the essential HSE tasks to comply with TenneT's Safety Management System, legal obligations, permits, and contracts.

• You guarantee that the project-specific HSE policy complies and is in line with TenneT’s overarching HSE policy, requirements, and contractual obligations. This involves monitoring the HSE performance of TenneT’s Contractors through HSE audits, inspections, safety walks, and evaluations. You also play an active role in risk assessments (e.g., HAZOP, HAZID) and other risk-driven processes like Safety by Design.

• You synchronize and integrate HSE goals and initiatives specific to the regional cluster with those of the business unit/company, and you implement them at the site level.

• You are the principal HSE contact for the assigned regional cluster.

Your profile and background

You have a BSc or MSc degree in engineering and technology or an equivalent field, along with a safety degree such as HVK, Moshe, or similar, you bring at least 10 years of HSE experience in Offshore and/or Civil sectors.  Your expertise includes a minimum of 5 years as an HSE Manager on multidisciplinary projects, working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.  You thrive in team environments, engaging effectively with project managers, HSE Advisors, colleagues, and TenneT’s Contractors' HSE staff. Your communication skills are exemplary, showcasing an open-minded approach and adeptness in managing varying opinions and interests.  As a unified force with the Contractor HSE team, you respect each role's unique contributions. Your independent spirit, proactive initiative, and teamwork prowess are complemented by your fluency in English and Dutch, both spoken and written.  With a class B driver's license, you're ready to travel, and you're prepared to meet the demands of Offshore assignments, including passing medical fitness tests and acquiring necessary training certifications as needed.
