Job Description
As a CIS Service Manager, you will:
  • Manage the Deployable CIS infrastructure as a service, ensuring system readiness and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Coordinate closely with engineering support teams to ensure the availability and quality of support delivered to customers.
  • Oversee Configuration Management to maintain all assets at known configuration states, ensuring accurate accounting.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments to address obsolescence and initiate new projects when necessary.
  • Manage Change Management plans to address operational issues and ensure the system configuration meets evolving requirements.
  • Support budget submissions for Operation and Maintenance (O&M) activities and manage contractor support resources.
  • Provide input to quarterly SLA reports and offer recommendations for the SLA Change Management process.
  • Contribute to system documentation updates for operation, maintenance, and training in alignment with system evolution.
  • Support project managers during the project development, delivery, and transition phases.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT services engineering, planning, operations, and management.
  • ITIL Foundation and Intermediate Certifications in Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, or Continual Service Improvement.
  • Strong experience in Configuration Management and Change Management processes and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage small-scale projects related to CIS services, including network monitoring and performance management.
  • Proven experience as a line manager, with the ability to mentor and motivate teams.
  • Experience in budget planning, preparation, and execution for O&M activities.
  • Security clearance is mandatory.
You should possess the ability to:
  • Effectively lead and manage teams, ensuring smooth operations and meeting project objectives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate issues, ensuring service readiness and compliance with SLAs.
  • Provide detailed reports, including SLA updates and Change Management recommendations.
