Tribology Surface Specialist € 4100

In this role, you'll provide essential knowledge intribology and surface science to ensure reliable wafer clampingsolutions and advance the scanner roadmap. Through collaborationswith business partners, knowledge centers, and academia, youcontinuously expand and secure the expertise in tribology andsurface science.

Your main responsibilitiesare:

• Conductingtribology-related investigations for the project, includingtesting, calculations, and dataanalysis.
• Performing surface analysis to gaininsights into mechanisms and conduct root causeanalysis.
• Developing and validating newconcepts aimed at enhancing productperformance.
• Providing guidance to designengineers on material selection to meet tribology contactrequirements.
• Assisting senior experts withpractical testing and analysistasks.

• 4+ years of proven workexperience
• Master of PhD in Physics,Mechanical, Material or Chemistry
• Experience inMATLAB is a must have
• Knowledge of nanoscalewear mechanisms
• Knowledge of frictionmechanisms
• Knowlegde of surfacecharacterization
