What we offer
  • A salary of €13.68 per hour.
  • Permanent contract after 6 months possible
  • 20% bonus after 10:00 PM.
  • 40% bonus on Saturdays.
  • 30% bonus after midnight.
  • A full-time job
Who you are

As a shipping employee, you are available full-time and willing to work in three rotating shifts:

  • A morning shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (Tuesday to Saturday).
  • A day shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM (Monday to Friday).
  • A night shift from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM (Monday to Friday).
  • You have an MBO level of thinking and are familiar with Excel.
  • You speak fluent Dutch and English.
What will you do

As a shipping employee, you are an essential link in the distribution and shipping process. Together with the OTC (order to cash) employee, you ensure that all processes run smoothly. You are responsible for coordinating drivers during the loading and unloading of packages, and you assist the loading and unloading staff to ensure that trucks can depart on time. Additionally, you are involved in creating shipping documents and handling the administrative processing of trips in the PostNL system. You also resolve drivers' issues in consultation with the process manager. Furthermore, we offer:

You will work at PostNL in Alphen aan den Rijn. PostNL is the leading mail and package delivery service in the Netherlands. In the distribution center in Alphen aan den Rijn, everything revolves around efficiently processing packages and mail items to ensure they arrive on time at the recipient. It’s a busy yet friendly work environment where teamwork is central. As a shipping employee, you play a crucial role in ensuring this process runs smoothly.
