  • Develop control concepts for H2 engines and hybrid applications
  • Focus on designing control concepts for engine systems (e.g., Cooling controls, Engine brake, EGR controls, OBD monitoring)
  • Improve existing controls to meet customer demands and EU/NA legislations
  • Create controller concepts based on new emission and OBD requirements
  • Integrate control concepts between suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Verify control concepts with SIL, HIL, or RCP on an engine
  • Document controller-related requirements at the engine system level
  • Support calibration engineers with pre-calibration of new concepts
  • Continuously improve related tools and processes
  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary project teams

Functie-eisen
  • MSc in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on dynamics and control
  • Experience with hydrogen engine and hybrid control concepts
  • Knowledge of engine and aftertreatment controller development, EU/NA emissions, and OBD regulations
  • Experience with Six Sigma processes (e.g., DMAIC, Design for Six Sigma, FMEA, Monte Carlo)
  • Understanding of requirement engineering (IREB certification preferred)
  • Familiarity with development process models like SPICE (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Matlab and Simulink
  • Experience with Doors Next Generation (preferred)
  • Competencies: initiative, cooperation, communication skills, attention to detail, perseverance
  • Proficiency in English (Dutch skills preferred)
