Senior Commercial Controller

Als Senior Commercial Controller ben je met name verantwoordelijk voor:
- Het leiden en monitoren van alle aspecten van de week-, periode- en jaarafsluiting en analyses aangaande de bovenkant van de P&L (van omzet tot contributiemarge);
- Het beheren van de uitvoering van financiële planningsprocessen, waaronder de rolling forecast en het budget voor de Buying & Sales afdeling;
- Verantwoordelijk voor het initiëren van verbeteringen door het creëren van transparantie. Het hebben van een diepgaand begrip van business drivers is hierbij essentieel;
- Proactief ondersteunen van de business met relevante, transparante en duidelijke inzichten en op feiten gebaseerd advies (via business cases en ad hoc analyses) en met de focus op waardecreatie (bij bijvoorbeeld leveranciers onderhandelingen);
- Het plannen, uitvoeren en/of leiden van projecten die cross-functionele betrokkenheid en interne belanghebbenden vereisen;
- Coachen van junior en/of medior Commercial Controllers.
Functie-eisen
Wij zijn op zoek naar een unieke en getalenteerde collega voor onze afdeling Business Controlling. Iemand die proactief, vernieuwend, grondig, en analytisch sterk is en tevens graag samenwerkt.
Wat breng je mee?
- Effectieve communicatievaardigheden en sterke interpersoonlijke vaardigheden. Gezien het feit dat management en directe business partners van internationale afkomst zijn, is een excellente beheersing van de Engelse taal vereist;
- Affiniteit met grote en complexe data infrastructuur. Vermogen om datastromen te interpreteren en deze in te zetten om de business te adviseren. Hierbij werk je samen met data scientists en data analisten;
- Advanced Excel vaardigheden zijn hierbij een randvoorwaarde. Kennis van en ervaring met Databricks (basic coding), Tableau of andere BI tools is een pré;
- Afgeronde Master in het Finance of Controlling domein, bij voorkeur aangevuld met EMFC/RC;
- Minimaal 7 jaar relevante ervaring;
- Ervaring met Commercial Controlling;
- Ervaring in de retail en/of e-commerce wereld is een pre.
