Overview

The Omnichannel Designer role is part of Marketing’s in-house Creative Team responsible for the omnichannel creative process for Foot Locker EMEA. All daily tasks will be as directed by the Associate Design Manager, Creative and Content. This includes, but is not limited to, supporting both internal and external visual communication initiatives. 

In close relationship with the Brand Marketing Team, the Omnichannel Designer will manage the development and execution of FLE’s creative concepts, including product and brand campaigns, retail concepts, POS materials, event support materials, digital content including web pages, emails etc.

They will ensure that all creative work is developed in alignment with Foot Locker EMEA overall marketing strategy and brand positioning and provide clear directions to the other members of the team to ensure consistency across the channels. They will provide internal Departments with creative support whenever needed, ensuring creative team alignment and respect of the brand guidelines. 


Responsibilities

Day to day

Create assets for our stores, such as campaign artwork, communication tools, hoardings, and instore visuals. All of which needs to align to the brand guidelines and bring a consistent and visually strong set of communications in our stores. Create assets and templates for digital marketing, social and for eCommerce, as part of a campaign or concept, or as a standalone element. All of course within the guidelines and aligned with the rest of the communications made. Besides working on consumer facing design, we also create internal communications tools as well. For this we will want you to work on items such as emails, posters, flyers, and newsletters. As all concepts and rollouts require approval, we would need you to support and contribute to the presentations that we make for internal and external approval. We also need your help to execute all other design request that potentially fall outside of the list above. Help to execute projects with the in-house team and in a consistent manner and matching to toolkit and brand guidelines

Creative 

The Omnichannel Designer role includes development and execution of creative concepts including product campaigns, retail point of sale and event support, and digital medium content. This includes visual support for sales and seasonal promotions. This is being done while working closely with Marketing, Product and Operations departments. 

Design Trends 

The Omnichannel Designer, along with the rest of the team, will need to keep track of and identifying current/new design trends. This is done by creating a library of examples, explorations and suggestions. This library will help the overall team to stay on top of trends as well as designs techniques. All is used to make sure that we continue to evolve and grow in our designs.

Creative Archive 

The Omnichannel Designer will be supporting the creation and maintenance of an archive of all materials developed by the in-house creative team and to ensure all team members follow the approved structure. 

Technical Support 

The Omnichannel Designer is responsible for providing technical support to the creative process. The Omnichannel Designer should understand the production process and be able to provide advice and solutions to complex printing and production problems. 

Other Responsibilities

Responsible for execution of design as directed by the Associate Design Manager, Creative and Content. Responsible for communicating information about the correct execution of the Foot Locker Corporate Identity both externally and internally. Work as an extension of the Brand team. Continually grow, learn, and experiment with new and innovative ways in which to solve problems and how to turn those solutions into innovative, dynamic, creative executions.

Special Projects 

Additional related special projects and specific tasks may also be required on an ad hoc basis, depending on the needs of the business 


Qualifications

COMPETENCY PROFILE 

HBO or equivalent degree in Graphic Design  Minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience in Graphic Design gained in a similar work environment or with an advertising agency  Full understanding of creative and production processes, good comprehension of digital/screen/offset printing methods and creation of assets for online  Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud package (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Bridge, XD, etc)  Fluent in English, knowledge of other European languages is a strong plus Good communication skills with ability to develop relationships with internal and external clients  Must be flexible and able to adapt quickly to changes, excellent planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines  Ability to accept constructive feedback as part of the creative process  Ability to think and design commercially  Experience in creating TikTok and Snapchat content is a plus An understanding of Dreamweaver, html and web design is a plus  Experience in JIRA is a plus
