We're seeking a technically skilled operator withexpertise in computers and robotics. In this role, you will beresponsible for operating and maintaining advanced roboticmachinery that elevates this company's production to a new level.Do you have technical insight and a passion for robotics? The company recentlyinvested in an automated installation for manufacturing floorgrates, and they are looking for a smart operator who can operatethis machine and isn't afraid to make corrections. Currently, thisis the only machine of its kind, but they expect to acquire moresimilar equipment soon.

As an Operator, you willoperate this machine line and run the programs created by theproduction planning team. You ensure these machines run smoothly.You handle materials to and from the machine, and you check thequality and quantity of the materials. The programs may not alwayswork perfectly, and that's where you come in as an operator. On theproduction floor, you identify discrepancies and correct themyourself. Then you adjust the machines (digitally) to ensure theprocesses are carried out on the product. It's a complex machine,so you need to be confident in your abilities. This position isdistinct from a production worker or production operatorrole.

Yourresponsibilities:

  • Operating roboticmachines according to prescribed procedures andguidelines;
  • Checking settings and makingadjustments as needed;
  • Resolving minortechnical issues and malfunctions with themachines;
  • Performing regular and preventivemaintenance;
  • Participating in training programsto expand your knowledge of the roboticmachines.

Functie-eisen
  • You have a VAPRO-B level or a technicalMBO/HBO education;
  • You truly have a passion forrobotics and computers; without this, the role might not be a goodfit;
  • You're eager to learn and willing toundergo about 6 months of training to operate the machines, andapproximately 3 months for end-result quality control and routineand periodic maintenance;
  • Preferably, you haveknowledge of Safan and Fanuc, but it's notmandatory;
  • You speak either Dutch orEnglish.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
  • A starting salary of around €2,800 permonth, excluding a 14% shift premium on all hours worked—does thissound like a good fit for you? Let's discuss thedetails;
  • You'll work full-time in a two-shiftsystem from Monday through Friday;
  • Travelreimbursement for commuting to and fromwork;
  • As long as you're on a temporarycontract, you'll accrue 25 vacation days and 8.33% vacationpay;
  • You'll participate in the StiPP PensionFund through Olympia, then transition to the client's pensionplan;
  • You'll start on a temporary contract, butif both parties are satisfied, there's the potential to offer you apermanent position earlier;
  • Once you're hiredpermanently, you'll be covered under the favorable Metalektro CAO(Collective Labor Agreement), with 27 vacation days, 13compensatory leave days, and many otherbenefits;
  • You'll be working with new technologyand receive comprehensivetraining.
