Job Description

Join Philips as a Sr designer of Detectors in the Imaging Chain Cluster. In this role you’ll be the technical interface between X-ray detector manufacturers and internal Philips customers. Since you do have a deep understanding of detector technology on one hand, and understanding of requirements of the application in a X-ray system you’ll be able to identify and solve potential gaps.

You’ll be part of a team of ~ 15 enthusiastic engineers (2 located in India). This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, influence product development, and collaborate within a dynamic cross-functional team.

Your Role:

Ensure sustaining of high quality, serviceable, and reliable detectors in our systems. Secure that new developed detectors will fulfill all relevant requirements Establish and safeguard a good relation with supplier on technical level to secure that solutions will be implemented which do benefit entire supply chain, including focus on Life Cycle Mgt In this role you’re responsible to secure that team is able to test detector performance in own lab environment. Safeguarding that New Product Development will introduce high quality products. You're the Right Fit If:

MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering, with 5+ years of E HW development (EMC, FPGA). Experienced with Healthcare Regulatory aspects (FDA 820.x, IEC 62304, IEC60601, ISO13485, ISO14971), effective communication skills and a continuous improvement attitude. Strong understanding of healthcare products and hardware development / maintenance. Experience in detector technologies is considered a plus. You’re strong in X-functional alignment (including service, customers and suppliers) in order to integral result iso sub optimization.
