If you’re passionate about reducing food waste and driving meaningful change with data, this could be your perfect fit. As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of developing a smart, scalable data platform that powers their commercial products using Machine Learning. 

What You’ll Do:
  • Build and maintain the data infrastructure and ETL pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and accuracy.
  • Architect a future-proof system with automated testing, monitoring, and CI/CD processes to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Keep their platform lean, fast, and secure, leveraging the best technology in the industry.
  • Stay curious, continuously exploring new tools to ensure they remain on the cutting edge


Requirements
  • Startup Pro: You’ve got at least 5 years of experience, and you’ve thrived in fast-paced, early-stage environments. You've built cloud-based data platforms and have strong opinions about different tools.
  • Data Enthusiast: You’re all about creating and optimizing rock-solid data systems and have a knack for adopting best practices.
  • AI/ML Buff: You’re familiar with machine learning models and excited to collaborate with ML engineers and data scientists.
  • Team Player: You communicate clearly, work well with others, and keep the product front and center.
  • Communication: Strong communicator with fluency in English 
  • Right to work in the Netherlands, as visa sponsorship is not available.
The Tech You’ll Work With:
  • Cloud: Azure
  • Data warehousing: PostgreSQL
  • ETL: SQL, SQLmesh
  • Predictive modelling (by our ML engineer): Python, R
  • Have worked with Machine Learning models in your role as a Data Engineer (it is a Must) 
  • Version control and CI/CD: GitHub
