Functieomschrijving

A leading organization is seeking aProject Manager for Production to oversee the construction processof ships or their modules. Given the global nature of shipbuildingfacilities, you should be prepared for extensive travel andpotential long-term assignments abroad.

KeyResponsibilities

Managing and coordinating all production activities related to ashipbuilding project. Ensuring the shipbuilding process adheres toestablished budgets, timelines, and quality standards. Offeringinsights and assistance in developing strategies, sequences, andapproaches for the execution phase of the project. Proposingmeasures or alternative solutions when timelines or qualityexpectations are at risk. Leading a team of supervisors, ensuringthey possess the necessary skills and resources. Monitoring theactual construction, assigning tasks, and coordinating withsupervisors and subcontractors. Controlling project activitiesthrough documentation, analysis, verification, evaluation, andimplementing corrective actions. Providing advice on additionalwork and changes to the planned building processes.

Functie-eisen
A minimum of3 years of experience managing a production team on complexshipbuilding projects. Strong experience in the production ofintricate naval or offshore solutions. A Bachelor’s or Master’sdegree in Maritime Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a relatedtechnical field. Proficiency in both English and Dutch, withexcellent written and verbal communication skills. Willingness totravel extensively and/or work abroad for extended periods. Strongreferences, as a pre-employment security screening is a standardpart of the recruitment process.


Important:

Permanent EUcitizenship and a valid passport are essential. Candidates with anEU work visa or those holding both EU and non-EUnationality/passport will not be considered due to specificmilitary project requirements.
