Are you a hands-on salesperson with passion and experience in the retail industry? Do youfeel at home in a dynamic and international environment? Then weare looking for you

  • Higher education(HBO) Bachelor degree, preferable retailbackground;
  • English (fluent in writing andspeaking). Other language skills are anadvantage;
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills(Outlook – Word – Excel – PowerPoint);
  • Strongcommunication skills, good analytical skills, teamplayer;
  • Organizational skills (planning,prioritizing, being structured &accurate);
  • Service minded and with a proactiveattitude and enthusiasticapproach
what will youdo

For AMS Sourcing we arelooking for a Trade Assistant The teams are in charge of thesourcing of private label products. From premium range to standardand economy range in various categories. Within AMS there are threeTrade Teams: Fresh & Frozen, Food & Beverage and Non-Food& Near-Food. You will support and work in close collaborationwith the Trade Manager(s) on various sourcing tasks in differentcategories, such as:

  • Preparation andparticipation in pan-European Buyers Meetings;
  • Administrating tenders (collection of data from AMS Shareholders,Inviting suppliers, support suppliers during the tender process,collect offers, prepare quotation overviews, administrate updatesetc.);
  • Preparing supplier contact lists andsearching for potential new (international) suppliers, organizemeetings;
  • Preparation of sample & qualitytestings;
  • Preparation ofcontracts;
  • Communication and follow up with AMSShareholders and suppliers;
  • Generaladministrative tasks (taking meeting minutes, preparing PowerPointpresentations etc.).

AMS Sourcing is aEuropean buying alliance, which manages and coordinates aEuropean-wide buying service generating the best prices for itsmember; Ahold Delhaize, Booker, Salling Group, ICA, Hagar,
Kesko Food, Migros, Musgrave and Morrisons.

This joint-sourcing creates economies of scale, pooling ofexpertise and know-how from separate retailers. AMS allows itsmembers to enjoy the benefits of volume synergy, realizing the bestbuying prices and improvingprofitability.
