Manpower is searching for a Senior FinancialAccountant for our client working fromSchiphol.

As SeniorFinancial Accountant, you are responsible for the full cycle ofFinance within the company, located in the Netherlands. Besides thelocal entity, you are also financially responsible for thesubsidiaries in Germany and Norway. The Finance team exists of 3,CFO, Chief Accountant and Junior Financial Accountant. You as theSenior Financial Accountant will act as the right hand of the ChiefAccountant, while also provide substantial guidance to the JuniorFinancial Accountant. 

Theresponsibilities include:
  • Input invoices forDutch and German accounts
  • Review invoicesreceivable in an accurate manner
  • Update andcheck customer duty deposit details
  • AccountReceivable Aging update
  • Check the status ofoutstanding invoices before monthly settlement and coordinate withrelevant parties to complete the approval in a timely manner
  • Assist in completing tax declarations for theNetherlands, Germany, and Norway
  • Assist withmonthly account closing
  • Assist in completingannual auditing & budgeting
  • Check thepacking materials balance when receiving the purchasingapplications
  • Perform random stock-taking ofpacking materials

Functie-eisen
  • Minimum HBO level, with an education background inaccounting
  • Minimum five years of experience inaccounting field in multinational or logistics company
  • Detail-oriented and have a good command ofaccounting
  • Able to work independently andunder pressure with effectiveness and efficiency
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill
  • Good command in both written and spoken Dutch& English
  • Good skills in Office softwareapplications
  • Familiarity with Twinfield is aplus
