Master Data Specialist

You will be part of the Material Management Team (SCM), working with Planning Team, Schedulers and Warehouse who are also part of SCM. You ensure integrity of Material, Customer and Vendor Master Data, and manage data requests from Commercial Operations, Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Finance representatives.

Ensure Data Integrity of Material Master:

Describe MDM standards and create procedures and templates/standards for master data related tasks; Explicitly allocate accountabilities and responsibilities for master data maintenance and supply and ownership of data; Review MDM create, change and delete (CDM) requests for materials, customers and vendors; Ensure valid data requests are processed and invalid requests are rejected with proper reasoning, in a timely manner with further instructions about proper requesting; Responsible for validation and enforcement of MDM standards on all data requests; Investigate problems, find root causes, and develop solutions, as required.

Secure Master Data literacy and hygiene:

Educate stakeholders on de Master Data process, on timely delivery of data and intervene when necessary; Create, maintain and provide end user training on a global basis for master data creators and approvers; Participate in cross-functional teams to share best practices and drive continuous improvements within the MDM process; Ensure adherence to MDM KPIs (completeness and timeliness).

Your Profile

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or related field; Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially MS Excel; Minimum of 2 years of experience with SAP systems, including data management and configuration; Fundamental knowledge of (MDM) business processes; Experience in developing and explaining Material Data Standards; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams; Ability to work in a very fast paced environment; Able to work independently, managing multiple requests while meeting deadlines Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets. Financial acumen with a solid understanding of business processes and financial principles. Passion for data integrity and a meticulous attention to detail.
