Een greep uit jouw taken:
• Je inspecteert zowel serieproducten als nieuwe producten volgens gedetailleerde inspectiecriteria, inclusief klantspecificaties.
• Daarbij controleer je visueel of er geen sprake is van schade of verontreinigingen (foreign object debris), en onder meer of stofkappen en labels juist geplaatst zijn.
• Ook controleer je de documentatie, inclusief de inspectierapporten en testresultaten, om je ervan te verzekeren dat alle vereiste processtappen zijn genomen.
• Als je producten afkeurt, motiveer je je beslissing helder in een non-conformity report.
• Daarnaast bespreek je je bevindingen met je manager, de teamlead van Manufacturing.
• Ook bespreek je de afwijkingen van de criteria met de betrokken manufacturing- en designengineers, zodat zij begrijpen hoe de afwijkingen moeten worden hersteld en/of het ontwerp moet worden aangepast.
• Verder draag je bij aan de instructie van mensen, om herhaling te voorkomen. Met jouw feedback zorg je voor grotere efficiëntie en daarmee grotere productiviteit.

Nauwkeurig werken in een omgeving waar kwaliteit centraal staat. Dat gaat je goed af. Je neemt je verantwoordelijkheid voor goede en veilige eindproducten. Ook werk je goed samen met de wisselende productieteams. Met je communicatieskills weet je collega’s, teamleads en engineers te overtuigen van je bevindingen en voorgestelde procesverbeteringen. En je staat stevig in je schoenen als je producten moet afkeuren, want de productiedruk gaat niet boven een kwalitatief goed product.
Wat je nog meer in huis hebt?
• Een technische opleiding op lts- of mts-niveau.
• Kennis van en aantoonbare ervaring met inspectiewerkzaamheden, bij voorkeur in een omgeving met strikte regelgeving, zoals de scheepsbouw, luchtvaart of bijvoorbeeld de voedsel- of farmaceutische industrie.
• Je spreekt en schrijft goed Engels, omdat de voertaal op de werkvloer Engels is en je in het Engels rapporteert. Ook lees je makkelijk werkinstructies en inspectiecriteria in het Engels.
Wie is GKN Fokker Elmo?
Fokker Elmo is onderdeel van GKN Fokker, dé toeleverancier van technologische geavanceerde vliegtuigsystemen, lichtgewicht constructies en componenten voor de luchtvaartindustrie.
